Criogenic opens its doors to the youngest: family escape room in Barcelona
Until now, Criogenic was designed for people over 16 years old, but from now on, children aged 10 and up will be able to participate in a experience adapted and guided by our Criogenic team. Not only will this allow them to have fun, but it will also foster skills such as problem solving, creativity, and teamwork.
We offer two modalities in Barcelona: one in which the Criogenic team will be inside the room accompanying the children, ensuring that everything goes smoothly, with a small supplement, and another family option in which minors can play accompanied by adults. This makes the experience ideal to enjoy as a family, strengthening ties and creating unique memories.
Why is an escape room a perfect activity for children?
Escape rooms are not just entertainment: they are an educational tool disguised as an adventure. Unlike individual screens and video games, an escape room forces participants to communicate, listen, and collaborate in real time. For children, this is a unique experience in which they learn to manage pressure, think logically and celebrate team achievements.
At Criogenic, the experience is designed to be immersive yet accessible. Puzzles adapted for families maintain the level of excitement and mystery without sacrificing clarity. Criogenic team are trained to guide the little ones with patience and enthusiasm, ensuring that each child enjoys the game to the fullest without feeling lost or frustrated.
What minimum age is required to participate?
From the age of 10, children can now join the adventure at Criogenic Barcelona. Of course, those under 16 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult or have the supervision of the Criogenic team. This measure guarantees that the experience is safe, fun and adapted to the rhythm of each family group.
